Thanks for reminding to set up my snow peas for pre-sprouting this weekend. I always forget!! I don't grow regular English shelling peas, but do love sugar snaps & snows (cook LOTS of stirfries).
I started a bit of water-jug "wintersowing" a couple of weeks ago, & was thrilled yesterday to find "Zen Hybrid" (an Asian green) germinating already!

And today another wintersown jug is sprouting - "Summer Purple" Sprouting Broccoli. Is supposed to be a heat-resistant "Broccolini" type (no large main head, lots of continuous little side sprouts, more tender & edible stalks & leaves than regular broccoli).

Checked the wintersown jugs this morning, & woo hoo!! "Bachelor's Buttons" mix is sprouting!!
