Stallion "Juss for the Taste"
Does anyone out there know anything about the stallion "Juss for the Taste"? He is a 1991 Dutch Warmblood by Samber.
Pedigree here:

Looking at a baby of his, can't find much info on him anywhere. Thanks!

Do you remember anything about him? Impressions? I'm not sure if he's still alive, I found the website for his breeders (I think) but there is no info on him anymore...
Thanks!

I know he used to stand here until recently:

I'm not sure if he's still alive but the info on him has been taken off their website. I would contact them as they'd presumably have the most information on him. I believe he was owned by them and they had some of his foals for sale as well.

Looks like they sold the farm. Read the about us page. It is a bit sad but still no mention of Juss. Just a picture
I would frequent their website years ago. I loved the picture of Juss and her daughter (?). He also had a few foals and youngsters that looked very nice on that site. I don't see anything now

I bought a Juss for the Taste mare some years ago.
There was a huge issue with papers.. This was before Archers had Juss so quite some time ago.
Juss had a mellow relaxed temperament I am told. He was a bit oldfashioned in conformation from the pictures/video I saw.
The mare I had was on the small side...15.2 ish, pretty head, a bit short in the neck, however had an excellent trot, light, elevated in front and used her hocks well. The mare had issues, not sure if they were 'human made' or not.
As I was looking for a broodmare and hit a dead end with the paperwork I sold her.
Not many of his kids around now.

I was young when I requested the video (17-ish). Had just lost my heart horse to a pasture accident and was looking at breeding a relative's Draft/Paint to a WB to get a new horse. I liked how light Juss seemed on his feet. He seemed to have a fairly compact build despite being 16/1/16.2 with good muscling. His free jumping picture is what grabbed me. High & tight, using his neck. He seemed to have a good attitude and very rideable. I ultimately ended up purchasing a started youngster rather than breeding due to timing and cost.
