Default Help me find a jacket and a bit

After seeing some pics of last week's show, I realize I need a new jacket. The one I have fits when I am standing, but the waist is a bit long for me - and so the jacket rides up and makes me look like I have no neck and am hunching my shoulders. The thing is, I have long arms and even tho I am short waisted, I am tall, so I need a "tall" or "Long " jacket - but with a short waist. Would love technical fabric with 4 buttons and one vent.

Then there is the bit. Right now, Fred goes well in the bradoon of his double - a loose ring traditional snaffle about 11 or 12mm, 5.5"... Would love to find that mouthpiece in a bit with "regular" loose rings rather than the smaller bradoon rings. Alloy would be nice.

    Any help appreciated!

I just bought a thin LR snaffle from Toklat in 5.5" it's 11mm and the rings are 3.5" I think. I really need a 5.75" but it's working so far and it looks just fine on my mares largish head.

I've used the 14mm Herm Sprenger "thin-mouthed snaffle" - thin 3-piece snaffle, regular rings. Dressage Extensions has an array of thin snaffles that you might like.

thanks. Someone else suggested the skarlett - I'll have to find one to try on. Too bad it has double slits in back, but it looks like they can be closed with zippers?

And I tried the DE website, but didn't see the bit I was looking for. (he leans on a three-piece snaffle, )......

I love the Neue Schule bits. You may like the Demi Anky. You can order from UK, they ship fast, and provide good service.

    Hi Lorilu!
There was just a thread on Pikeur coats, with advice to order from Amira Equi in the UK - much less expensive
Glad your showing is going well!
