    Default Ocala Dressage Instructors

Too lazy to do a search Looking for dressage instructor. Rider would be 3rd level and up. Current instructor recommended a person whose last name is Roberts or Robertson? Asking for a friend, and I don't know too much about who's who, or who is in the area. Would need to ship in for lessons. TIA

Thank you. I believe that's the one. She did say he sold a lot of horses.

Sally Moehring, Sharon Jerdeman-Bates, Charlotte Trentelman are all in that area and would be worth checking out.

Alex Robertson is a great instructor and rider. He rode one of my youngsters at my sister's farm in Pennsylvania for the summer
and did a brilliant job with him. He's funny and kind and engaged. Gets the best out of the horses AND riders. You would have an amazingly productive winter riding with him.

I scribed at a dressage show in Ocala this past weekend. Of all the riders I saw at the show (and I didn't see all of them, just many!) the one I would contact first for training and lessons (if I was looking) is Silva Martin (http://boydandsilvamartin.com/Pages/silva/dressage.html).

Charlotte was also judging, so I didn't see her on a horse

The results aren't posted yet, but if you might want to review hard data, check back in a couple of days: (http://www.orlandodressage.com/results.html).

I assume that Silva is not in Ocala, but likes to hang with Boyd in Aiken. Maybe not. She is a lovely rider.

Also thanks all, great places to start.
