Default Trainers in Aiken this winter

So I may potentially be horse shopping in Aiken this winter and was wondering if I could get some names of some trainers/professionals that usually migrate south for the winter that may have some young event prospects/sale horses in the spring. I know Courtney Cooper and Pippa Moon are in the area...anyone else? Thanks in advance!

Kate Chadderton - I am biased toward her taste in horses as I bought my superstar Keegan from her. Her website is not up to date for sales, but contact information is correct. http://katechadderton.com/contact.html. She is best via text.

Ryan Wood - Ryan sells a lot of very nice horses and always has at least a few for sale. http://woodstockeventing.com/

Shelley Heckles. Sells a lot. OTTB and TB/draft crosses for the most part, but some warmbloods. She also has moved somewhat to facebook for the most recent new horses in the barn, but website helpful to see types of horses she has. http://www.classicbayeventing.com/#!__horses-for-sale

Kim and Tara Ziegler (although I don't know how many of the sales horses they bring down). http://www.zieglereventing.com/

Sally Cousins doesn't sell a lot herself (has at least one nice one for sale now), but has a big network of people riding with her so there are often several horses for sale that she knows of down in Aiken with her www.sallycousins.com

    Valerie Vizcarrando http://www.blueclovereventing.com/Sa...aleHorses.html

Lellie Ward is there year around and may both have and know of horses. http://www.paradisefarmaiken.com/sales/
OTTBs rule, but spots are good too!

Will add Dom and Jimmie Schramm to the list. Their website needs to be updated, but they frequently get nice horses in ( I am going with a friend to take one down on Tuesday), they are energetic and motivated.

Stephen Bradley will be based at Full Gallop Farm and usually has a few sale horses. I'm working on getting this sale page up to date: http://www.stephensbradley.com/STEPH..._FOR_SALE.html

I don't know when they are going, but Tebogo Sport Horses usually goes down for part of the winter and they have lovely young TBs that are well started and well produced. They are also just great people to work with.

Horse shopping in Aiken is good stuff. Did it a couple of years ago. Had a few lined up before heading down, and saw at least twice as many more once we got down there and people knew we were shopping, and could have had seen A LOT more than that had we stayed a few extra days. Really enjoyed it...biased, though, since that's when I found Toby.

Default Add Pippa Moon to the list

Pippa always has some nice horses - and occasionally ponies - for sale. She does all the work herself and stands by what she says. One of my friends (ChasingtheMusic here on COTH) bought a young OTTB from her several years ago and he is amazing!

I second Kate Chadderton, Lellie Ward, Sally Cousins, and the Schramms.
