Yesterday I posted my gelding for sale on a local Facebook group and included ALL information, including price.
I get a private message from a facebook "friend" who asks: Is that your roan horse for sale?
Um yeah...that's why I posted the ad...
I wrote back "yes, do you know somebody interested?"
Her reply: "How much are you asking? And what are his/her specific information?"
I directed her to the for sale ad, that she obviously saw to begin with to know that he was for sale...why couldn't she just READ the ad???
Haha I always think this is so funny. I see it all the time on facebook groups. The horse's name and age and rider suitability everything will be there... and some people still will ask "What is his registered name?" Or "How old is he?" Or "Would he work for a young rider?" Well if you just read the initial ad you would know all of that information AND you wouldn't look dumb by asking!
After sending her the one-word brand of boot (which is clearly and in all CAPS, the first word in CL title), she responds with:
"Thanks. Do they have any whale boning (stiff boots) or are they pliable? I would need to get them shortenened and this typically can't be done with stiff boots."
<going from face-palm straight to banging-head-on-desk.>
Just replied with this:
"Uh ... what? I am guessing these are not the kind of boots that you are looking for.|
But thanks for asking!"
