Default Gary Stevens - making a comeback

I wish him all the luck coming back and racing again. He was/is a great jockey. I don't know where some people find the time for all their endeavors!!! Geez, I can hardly make it through a regular day of work. Looking at Steven's schedule, he mc's, exercises horses, trains and rides. I'm tired just reading the list!!

    Welcome back GS

I still haven't figured out how to copy and paste on this ipad, but we've been discussing his come back on the "Perfect Ride" thread. His training gig didn't last long, so mark that endeavor off your list . I'm betting the afternoon riding doesn't last very long.

Ditto. Comeback or mid life crisis?

Hard for some to come down, I should think. You've got to have a pretty tough competition in you to be as successful a jockey as he was. It's not like that kind of drive just goes away, no matter how beat up your body may be.

    Good luck to him.

Look at Lance Armstrong, going through all this because he wants to be allowed to compete again.

Some of these guys just can't sit back and relax. Clearly it's not in their nature.

GS is doing good. I've seen a couple of rumors about him riding Paynter. Double comeback.
