Anyone ever ridden with or gone to audit one of his clinics??
Don't know if my guy will be ready for the minimum level he'll be coaching but it'd be awesome to go watch. I've watched a lot of his big Event rides but never seen his coaching or what his system is like. But, it's pretty darn cool he's coming to our area in April

his program is exacting, and definitely builds step by step...he is fun, has a great sense of humor and is very encouraging. I really liked riding with him (and with Heath). Where will Matt be teaching?

Canterlope - I love the name!!!! I used to ride my very first coaches' daughters' pony named Canterlope. Suited it too!! Little dun coloured mare, maybe 12ish hands.

Kate - how is he with young, green TB's??

I'm not Kate, but I know that he helped a friend of mine a lot with a green TB. He improved a lot with his help.

While I wasn't riding a green horse, I thought he did a great job with other folks horses. Interestingly, I first rode with him Spring 2002 and I thought he was just ok, but when I rode with him Winter 2006 I thought he had really grown as an instructor and trainer.....so much more to say and a much better communicator. I was so impressed how his teaching had matured. I last rode with him Spring 2008 or 2009? and I really miss him!
