My daughter showed my very plain, conformationally challenged QH this summer because, well, there were no other options. They had a WONDERFUL year. He rose to the challenge and she had a blast. He is now pasture retired and we have leased a beautiful new mare for her.

Red face Well, this picture is well over 15 years old ~

And at 15 HH as well as being an Arab, he was not "exactly a pony" ... Nevertheless, I love this picture of backback riding - after the fact!

    Default ... One more

Of my sweet Red Guy and his latest charge, 11/10, a few weeks before he crossed the Bridge at the age of 30.5 years.

This is the last adorable little girl I was able to give to him ~

    I miss him every day.

We LOVE our Lu Lu! She is so sweet! And she is QUIET too- I once was dragging around my son's balloon... everybody else thought it was a horse eating MONSTER- not Lu Lu, she walked right out checked it out, bumped it with her nose and was like, "Hi, Mom, Pet me!!!" If the horses are down in the bottom of the field and walk out to get them, Lu Lu walks back with me and doesn't run to check out the buckets. Seriously... WHAT HORSE DOES THAT!!! I am more important than GRAIN!!!! I also own her grand-dam and she is a great pony, too!!! LOVE the Welsh Ponies!!!

My niece (forgive the showbows...I know they're against the rules, but she just HAD to get all dressed up...to go ride in the back yard )

The day she met Henry (she doesn't care that he's MY pony...and there are those bows again)

Couldn't stop at helmet... just picked up a used 14" AP saddle. Can't wait to get my grand-daughter on the pony this summer!
