Wink Let's see your candid photos of your kids and their ponies!

While I love seeing a cute kid in show clothes, with braids and big bows, jumping her pristine white pony, I also love seeing candid shots of kids and their beloved horses.

    I'll go first:

Here is my 2 year old daughter, Addie Grace, Ember deep in conversation:https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=4880486126223&l=b9b081e60d

Addie feeding her pony Simba: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?f...4&l=05a7f710b6

    Addie sitting on Simba:
https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?f...7&l=46570c0b82 (yes, I know, I am trying to find her a helmet. Until then, I only let her sit on him (he was busy eating his dinner)

Here is my granddaughter and her mom's OTTB.

Same horse can be a real rodeo champ when left to run in the arena, but she is very calm and gentle when Amalia is around.

If anyone has the Summer 2012 Smartpak catalog (the one with the forelock braid upclose) you can see a candid of my daughter and her pony, Pony - page 34.)

I love those photos; they show both of their personalities to a T.

My son and Lu Lu, who is now his pony- http://www.leakycreek.com/modules.ph...view_photo.php

Another pic of him and his pony- http://www.leakycreek.com/modules.ph...view_photo.php

    Kiddo & Willow- http://www.leakycreek.com/modules.ph...view_photo.php

My sitter's daughter... they would come over and get pony rides and the kids all loved to help groom and hose off the horses. http://www.leakycreek.com/modules.ph...view_photo.php

    Kiddo riding Willow- http://www.leakycreek.com/modules.ph...view_photo.php

Remington... my biggest horse... absolutely adored my son when he was first born!!! He'd nicker to him... I foaled the horse out and can count on my hands the number of times he'd nicker to me... but he loves his boy! http://www.leakycreek.com/modules.ph...view_photo.php

I have more, if I find some good ones, I'll add them! LOVE horses and kids!!!

Here are my children making me a very happy mommy this weekend by spending both days out in the arena with me

And individually: my son (8yo) riding my most awesome mare ever and then swapping with his sister to ride the pony.

And my daughter (4yo) riding the pony and riding my mare by herself for the first time this summer

These are great! Love the "everyone smile" and think that could be a contest winner.

These are not my kids (he's 43 and all the pictures I have would have to be scanned which I don't have) but some of the cutest ever! I know this has been posted here before (probably Mike M). I put it on whenever I need a smile!

MK Smith, how do you anything done during the day? I'd just want to snuggle with that little blue eyed gray fuzzy pony!

These are all SO cute, makes me want to buy a pony for my kid! Oh, wait, I don't have kids yet. Oh well, you can always make room for a pony!

Thanks! I want to get a poster of it eventually for my daughter. This was her first year in 4-H and she was getting ready for her Western Pleasure Ponies class. This little guy is 10 hands and he was a rescue from New Holland Broker Lot. He has cushings and was foundered when we got him. Continued meds and lots of love and he has a home for life! He is a ham and he LOVES to drive! My daughter got 3rd at districts with him and missed the state competition by one placing. Instead of being upset with 3rd she got a huge smile on her face and said "mommy if I teach him to back next year we can make it to states!" He just doesn't like to back in harness, so winter project!

    Here he is driving: http://i535.photobucket.com/albums/e...eDistricts.jpg
Here is is after we got him and brushed him:http://i535.photobucket.com/albums/e...lashRescue.jpg

OH, you guys! Great pictures. Lovely children and horses and ponies.

Kasjordan, I especially love the quote from your daughter at the end of your post.
