Flip a coin. It's not what side lands that matters, but what side you were hoping for when the coin was still in the air.
You call it boxed wine. I call it carboardeaux.

What wonderful news! Believe it or not, just yesterday as I was getting into our truck I was wondering if you had ever found your kitty. So glad your story had a happy ending!

This is why I always bang on the hood of my car before starting it in the winter. Cats and other animals love to get up in there to get warm in the winter. I know that I have a tom cat living in my garage/barn so I make extra sure to check he isn't under my car.
Just saw your update, glad you found her!!

HAPPY DANCE!
I wonder how many of her nine lives she's burned up in the past month?

DH slowed down like always, to avoid hitting whatever it was in the road. We pull off, and it's a cat. I'm thinking Aw, it's a little tabby, looks like Katie Well, DH puts the car in park and says "Um, is that Katie? I think that's Katie." I'm thinking there's no way, don't get your hopes up... well he gets out of the car, and says Here kitty kitty kitty. Cat pops her head up out of the ditch. He says "Katie!". And this freaking cat RUNS up the road to DH and starts climbing up his leg like a tree. He grabs Katie and gets back in the car and he says "Don't cry!" well of course I just lost it, I'm boohooing like a baby and Katie is going crazy rubbing on us and meowing and absolutely can't stop snuggling and head bumping and climbing on both of us. She is completely fine-skinny as heck and has a notch in her ear- but no injuries, no broken bones, coat looks great, totally fine. Bless her heart, she just wants to be carried and held and fed lots and lots of food
THANK YOU for all your prayers and jingles!!
OMGosh, YIIIIPPPEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!
I have big fat tears rolling down my face!! lol
I love the visual of her climbing up hubby's leg!!!
Sooo happy for you guys!
(BTW - a notch in her ear? Are there any feral cat folks in your nabe, maybe she was TNR'd (trapped/neutered/released)? JAT, would account for her absence!
