Default New Forest Pony went Prelim :)

The new forest pony that was bred by Trevelyan Farms (Lesley Feakins) ran her first preliminary in Ocala with Lauren DeNeve up (I ran her through training but that is high enough for me!).

Forrest Nymph (Farrah) scored a 30.9 in dressage (with a break in the counter canter!), clean stadium and clear cross country (with about 25 time, which was planned). So proud of this incredible pony.....she started out at a dressage barn, hated it, and I got her and she loves to jump. What an awesome little mare. Bruce Davidson told me she has a great gallop

I don't have any other pictures yet, but my good friend Jody took these for stadium.

She is adorable and it is nice to see Lauren back in the game with some nice horses. I first met her as a young rider and have always thought her a lovely rider and young woman.

It was a shame when Lauren's intermediate mare fractured her hip! Maven is now bred for a 2013 foal and Lauren has grown the business so well here in Tampa that she is property hunting. She will continue to train out of my farm, but also from her own place where she can take more horses in training. We love her!

It's so cool to see New Forest Ponies out and about, especially in the US! I used to love going to the New Forest and seeing them on weekend walks as a kid.

Love it! super jumping form. How big was this pony? One of of my very favorite pony hunter ponies growing up in the 80s was a New Forest Pony.

Thanks, Lauren does a great job riding her! Farrah is not very wide, so she doesn't take up a lot of leg, that makes it a lot harder

Really good horses and very much under estimated. Try this for some fun! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r6zHoySR148 The races are about 4 miles long.

I found a short video clip on you tube! I don't seem to be able to copy and paste it though . You tube video channel "the horse pesterer" and he took a lot at Florida Horse Park. Midway down is Lauren and Forrest Nymph! Great video!

What a wonderful pony mare! She looked totally fine on XC; like it was a walk in the park. You should be very proud of her.

AWESOME video! And AWESOME pony!!! I event a large TBx pony so I'm always looking for videos of ponies of similar body types doing dressage/eventing at levels higher than us to help me study the type of ride required. I've never had New Forest Ponies on my radar before...I'll have to look into them more! Thanks for sharing
