Default Three Saddles Stolen in Los Angeles

    Hey there, folks...

Unfortunately, I just had three of my saddles stolen from my storage unit in Los Angeles (Van Nuys, in the San Fernando Valley). Most likely the theft occurred yesterday, January 5, 2013, or in the days preceding it. 16 (!!) units were broken into, according to the LAPD officer who came to take my report. And that was just the ones that had filed reports so far.

Here's the specifics on the saddles:

Courbette Cresta 17" dressage saddle, black. S/N: 944150
Courbette Arosa 16 1/2" close contact saddle, brown. S/N: 378021
Big Horn 15" western saddle, cordura & leather, black. No S/N. This is an older saddle, which shows a fair amount of wear.

If anybody hears anything, please let me know. The western saddle, while not particularly expensive, holds a lot of sentimental value to me. And the two Courbettes are practically new, I bought them a little over a year ago and haven't put much in the way of mileage on them. The Arosa in particular has only light use and the leather is still pretty new-stiff. The Cresta is more broken in, but still a little squeaky.

If you see these, you can hit me up via the phone number in the image or via my email address: jadewolf@gmail.com

Thanks, y'all. What a crappy way to start off 2013.

I'm keeping an eye on Craigslist (one of the other tenants at the storage place found his stolen goods on there) and eBay, but the more eyes on this the better.

(X-posted from the Off Course forum.)

Thanks. I'd sure like to have their heads displayed on pikes outside my front door as a warning to others when they're caught.

But I'd settle for getting my saddles back. :P
