Default Best nail trimmers for a small breed dog?

Hi, we recently acquired a third dog. A 8 wk old Min Pin Puppy. Her nails are very sharp, but I don't want to try her with the trimmers I have currently. Her first trim will probably be from a "professional", but for the future I thought I would check here!

    Tia,

are her nails comparable to cat nails right now? At the office we often use cat nail trimmers on small breed puppies.

Or people nail clippers. They work well to take tips off small breeds.

As a tech, on small dogs and cats I prefer people toenail trimmers. They work great.
