Default Need a vet in Denver area

Horse is in Berthoud, CO. Can't use CSU. Any suggestions for a field PPE? Thanks!

    Question

Is Littleton Large too far away that they wouldn't do it? That's who I'd go with.
In loving memory of Laura Jahnke.

You'd probably have to haul to Littleton Large but that's where I'd go for a PPE for most horses.

Trailering isn't an option. I'm travelling/flying to see the horse.

Littleton Eq has a field service, but might be on the wrong side of Denver for you. You could call and ask, if they won't come out they might recommend someone who would:

faybe: Thank you. They were on the other side of Denver, but recommended two vets. Anyone used either Ken Neuens or Mark Fitch? Thanks!

Dr Joe Stricklin does farm calls and specializes in lameness, he's in that area. His number is: 970-674-1558 or 970-222-7993.

Dr. Mark Fitch is very good. I like Dr. Vernon Culver, too, and Melissa Culver is the best small animal vet! I'll add Nelson Road Vet Clinic, Steve Bensheidt.
But, you can't go wrong with Mark Fitch.

Mark is great, but old school and half retired. Chronic lameness is not his high point. Nancy Carr out of Brighton is better for that issue.. 303-435-0333

Amy Jergens, hands down. Best diagnostician in Northern CO, if not the entire state.

She is incredibly sharp. I have used most of the vets mentioned here and she is better. She also has more portable equipment.

Second Dr. Jergens. I used/worked with her while she was at MN.
