Target sells some underware in the 5 of $20 bin that I consider seamless. Maybe try thongs ( the key to thongs is to buy a size bigger). I buy them just to ride!

OMG that dressage thread made soda come out of my nose! Hairless minge? No wonder Thomas was banned.

And I guess I must have been riding incorrectly for the past 30 years because I have never been injured by my underwear. What the hell are you people doing with your crotch when you're in the saddle?

Same thing for me! I always wondered why it only happened when I rode in my saddle. I finally woke up and realized that's what it was. I now ride in a CWD and have not had the problem since. I tired everything from new underwear to creams and didn't exactly enjoy going commando... Try riding in a different saddle for a week and see if it happens....

Epic response and I was waiting for someone to throw that one out there.

I ride in the seamless underwear from Soma. Pricey, yeah, but I figure I've already thrown out this much cash for this damn sport, what's a few pairs of expensive underwear, right?

Thanks for all the responses! I will definitely have to look into some of these suggestions. I only have this problem on my right side, probably cause I have an issue weighting my left side more than my right so that side is pushing against the saddle more.
I don't really like going commando, actually riding is ok (only done it twice, both times to avoid pain after a bad underwear sore), but I don't like the feeling getting my horse ready/walking around, and I am paranoid about forgetting to zip my zipper or something!!

You guys are cracking me up with the "Go Commando!" suggestion.

I sell an underwear line called Commando in my store, and their tagline is "better than nothing". It seems like their products might be what the OP is looking for. I know a bunch of girls from my barn got them to ride in.

This is a link to the underwear companies website.

Try BodyGlide on very clean skin, (no soap residue), dressage extentions has it.
In the good old days we use to wear panty hose, cut off below the knee, over under wear. Worked great.

There is a product called Bodyglide, that really helps with chafes on knees, heels and wherever. I've used it on girth rubs. Hard to find sometimes but worth the hunt. It comes in a rub on container like deodorant.

OK, I need to slightly de-rail this thread for a minute to talk about boy shorts.

Because every time one of these threads comes up, a whole bunch of y'all chime in singing the praises of boy shorts. And every time, I get confused. I have owned exactly two pairs of boy shorts; in fact I bought one pair specifically to ride in, hoping to avoid heat rashes in the summer. And both pairs drove me NUTS because the stupid bottom "short" portion would always roll up and bunch up! Is it because I have bulging thighs and all you boy short-loving people have twig legs?? Are you supposed to wear them with some sort of reverse garter belts around your knees to keep them down? Duct tape them to my legs??

I'm really confused about what I am missing here.

I have exactly the same problem! Cheap ones, fancy ones, they all bunch up at the top. Boyshorts are definitely no bueno for me for anything except sleeping in.

Same here! Soooo I get the ones with the longer legs, that go to about the middle of my thigh, that way no rolling up. The "shaper" ones are usually the longer ones. Yea I can't stand the typical "boy shorts" as they aren't long enough and roll up into the thigh/groin crease.
