Blanket Shopping: High Denier & Neck Cover...Any Favorites?
I'm looking for a winter turnout blanket with a high denier and an UNinsulated neck cover. I'd like to be able to also use the neck cover with a lightweight sheet, so detachable is preferable. The last time we had a day-long rain, the rain got under the edges of the sheet and the horse's shoulders were wet under the sheet.
Since I could use another winter blanket, I figured it would be better to get one that comes with a neck cover. But if I can't find a detachable neck cover that's uninsulated, I may end up buying an uninsulated one separately to use with the turnout sheet.
I like the Weatherbeeta Detach-A-Neck style, but the neck covers are insulated even on the medium-weight. But the denier is 1680, which is nice.
Anyone have any favorite blankets with both a high denier and an uninsulated, removable neck rug?
