Never thought I would ever say this, but that was kinda gross. Maybe because it looked like a testicle?

Whoa. Just.....whoa. That's pretty gnarly, but the video is actually kinda funny.

Just a PSA, DON'T click on the cow abscess one if you're getting into gross puss filled things being lanced. I saw that one months ago (my farrier showed it to me....because he's EVIL). There are things you just can't unsee, and that's one that got me GOOD. Blerg.

That was fabulous! Makes the one I drained on the barn cat look like nothing!

Uhh....tonight I drained about a pint of black gunk out of a ruptured necrotic melanoma and was shoulder deep pulling backed-up manure out of her while maintaining a phone conversation, but I think your pus thing sounds gross. Thanks but no thanks

    I'm fine watching it.
But I'm sure that smelling it would do me in!

Fascinating to watch, but I would have lost my cookies at the stench. Yuck.

And you can hear her doing so in the background. The vet/sportscaster lets you know that up front.

Also, the inside pus thing had 3 liters. That's a big a$$ diet pepsi bottle and a half. Of pus.

Watched the whole thing, didn't make me squeamish at all. My end reaction was "awesome!". Is something wrong with me?

Damn, that thing just straight up created a waterfall of pus. I bet the horse felt so much better after getting that drained. Sheesh!

Well, whatever is "wrong" with you is also "wrong" with me. I watched it while eating my salad with blue cheese dressing.

True confessions: I sometimes look up "pus" on YouTube. Or "abscess".

I was a bit worried about his nurse's activities in the background since I am a sympathetic heaver. All I have to do is here that yerking sound and I'm yerking along. But on my phone (with its admittedly poor acoustics and background noise) all I heard was coughing sounds.

Today if there's a quiet moment at work I'll watch it here on the "big screen". Am I correct that the internal abscess was opened inside the body cavity? Presumably it wasn't encapsulated enough to remove the whole thing? That gave me the heebie-jeebies more than any of the visuals -- the idea of having to clean up all that germy mess before closing up the body wall again. But apparently with the help of antibiotics the horse recovered just fine.
