OK, I am not a driver, but we do run shows that offer driving, so as a show secretary, I'm curious.
I was told at a dinner party the other night that there is a new rule that says drivers who show at rated shows are now forbidden from showing at unrated shows. This is going to kill us - we will probably have to just eliminate our driving classes if it's true. Entries are already light in those classes, so I doubt they will fill anymore.
I did search the forum, but couldn't find anything on this subject.
What CDE Driver said. It's a new FEI regulation, and there was a good clarification on the ADS website a little while back. It was discussed at great length on the eventing forum as well, and I believe USEF also issued a clarification.
