    Default Kuvasz

I am so sorry to hear that but in this day and age, a biter is a lawsuit waiting to happen, for all involved. Adopter and Adoptee.

Are there any details on the dog? Who was the breeder? was he an import? where did he live? New Jersey? who was the rescue organization? Perhaps the rescue organization needs some help in evaluating kuvasz? We kuvasz owners/breeders take a strong interest in the breed no matter who owns it or breeds it and we will try to help as we can. The breeder should be informed so they know what their pups are up to, whether they care or not. So many times dogs can pass around from person to person and the breeders never know there's a problem until it's too late. Most breeders in the USA will take their dogs back. This one seems to have slipped through the cracks.

KFA at has a lot of great information.
