    Default Midneck turnout sheet sizing?

I recently bought my horse a HorZe brand midneck turnout sheet. I really like the midneck style because it seems to give them Alittle more shoulder room. He usually wears an 81 or 82 in a reg. sheet. Only issue with the one I bought is it was practically a dress on him, and the belly straps hung way too low. Does anyone know if these types of sheets typically run larger? This is my first time buying this style. Thanks!

i think the sizing really depends on the brand and not on the style of the turnout.
there are some brands whose styles are generously cut (ex. weatherbeeta freestyle) and it is recommended you size down. i'm not familiar with the brand you mention.
i do love the high neck turnouts for my narrow shouldered mare. regular cut turnouts would always gape on her and let water seep in when raining or snowing. i changed over to high neck turnouts some years ago and that's all i buy.
