I need to work on conditioning the muscles in my horse's chest. What are some good under saddle exercises to accomplish this?
Collected gaits and lateral mouvements. Lots of transitions.

Oh start slow. IOW do not do 10 miles of hill work on the first day.
Usually, we look at the hind end muscles, betwix the hind legs to determine muscles. Not the chest. But.ok.
IOW you have a more FIT muscled horse if the muscles betwix the hind leg cheeks are muscled up.
Hills are great for pretty much every horse and human. Puts ya in good shape.
