Default Broodmares starved in Woodstock, IL

    *posted for a friend*
Recently, a friend of mine sold several broodmares to a woman named Jen Frogge from Woodstock, IL. Jen then starved them (several died from starvation and only a couple were recovered by my friend and they had very low body scores are are pregnant).

Please be advised that this woman is scooping up horses again. Her associate/boyfriend Jeff Flagg picks up horses for her.

    Keep your eyes open COTH!!

(I have alerted my friend of this thread, hopefully she will chime in)

I'm so glad she's finally publicly released the name of this person. Word of mouth is a valuable tool!

I saw a before and after picture of one of these beautiful mares on FB yesterday. I can't believe there hasn't been a bigger outcry :-(. No animal deserves to be treated like this. Calindo, I'm so sorry this happened.

I realize it's a stupid question -- but it's also an obvious one -- why in hell's name does she want more mares to neglect so horribly and let die? Is she that crazy, or cruel or what?

Is there any official place where I can confirm this? Like a newspaper article or lawsuit filed? I'll forward the info if I can confirm through such a source. I don't pass on rumours or anything I cannot verify.

I'm a native Chicagoan and agree with Sonesta, once this is confirmed, I will help spread the word.

Have you reported your experience to any authorities? The only way to prevent it from happening again is to report the abuse.
