That is called being a poor sport, to demean those you can't compete with.
    Sour grapes also apply.

If and when you ever are competing at the top of barrel racing and winning as consistently as those ladies do, then you come tell us how badly they ride.

I expect if that were ever to happen, you may be a bit ashamed to have been such a bad arm chair quarterback about your betters, that you don't even seem to know.

So many posts to say nothing... Go out in a pasture and yell, your "venting" is pointless.

If you had minded your own business, you would not need to vent.

There's a lesson in there for you.

If this is for real stop, just stop. Please stop. You aren't going to find the validation you are looking for on here. Nobody on here is going to tell you that you were right in bawling out a 12 year old child because you didn't like the way she was riding.

Reading between the lines it sounds like "your" barn is really mommy and/or daddy's barn, and this child's parents board a horse there. Butt out. Leave the kid alone. Let her ride her horse how she wants, if she's doing it "wrong" keep your nose out of it and let the adults deal with it. Stop "helping" (bullying) the kid or you'll just end up causing problems between your parents and hers. Stop whining about it here because you're just going to end up getting piled on even worse.

If you want to contribute to the COTH boards you'd be better off contributing what knowledge you have to people who are looking for help. If you want to vent then write clear posts, leave out the name-calling and other immature language. Nobody is going to give you any positive feedback on here when you present yourself in the manner you have thus far.

Unless of course you are trolling to get a rise out of people and if that's the case I'd say you've hit your mark. Carry on.

If I recall correctly, she had a different name on her first post...2ndyr something or other. Why the name change? Probably didn't realize that a name change would change the name on ALL of her posts.

And NO, you could not be competitive with professionals. Probably not ever with your attitude!

Translation-"Mommy and Daddy won't pay for me to do that".

Hint- Thats not an expensive hobby for those you are watching on the TV, it's a profession and they do it for a living. People actually come up to them and PAY them for their opinions, they don't run up and spout off how good they are then whine a 12 year old does not think they walk on water.
When opportunity knocks it's wearing overalls and looks like work.

The horse world. Two people. Three opinions.

the board doesn't work that way. You can't go back and change what name you posted under

No matter how good the horse, you still have to be able to ride it and win.
    How do you get there?
You ride many, many horses of all kinds for many years and get better and better and some day, when you can do great with regular horses you train and ride that well, then you will know how to find and train and manage and win and keep winning with those top horses, against those top competitors, that got there by beating everyone else.

If you really knew your stuff, you would have realized that even the best of them have bad runs, bad days and too bad when that happens at the biggest, richest competition of all, but it does.
I any discipline, no matter what you do with your horses, training or competing, your bad days is what teaches you where you need to work a bit more.
Those bad days, when you are at the top, don't mean you are terrible and any one newbie should point at how bad you are because of them, as you seem to be doing there.

My belief is that working with horses, unless someone is or learns in a hurry to be humble, they won't get far, won't really learn, will keep hitting their head on the wall of their stubbornness.
Being humble is necessary to become good with horses, because horses have a way to humble us every day, we have to get used to it.
