Default Boots with Jacket Pairing (a fashion question)

I have this coat in this color.
My tack is brown, my horse is chestnut, my breeches and pad are white.
I'm dying to get a pair of dehners in dark brown voyager leather.

Am I destined for the world's fugliest show ensemble award? I'd rather get a black or brown coat than ditch the brown boots.

I actually really like it. Gray and brown together is different, but I think it works.

The only way to truly decide is
    1) get the boots
    2) take LOTS of photos dressed for show including horse turnout
    3) post Poll under an alter

in other words - get the boots!

Eventually you may want another coat & that is time enough to choose one that perfectly complements the boots should you decide you're not that keen on the grey & brown.

The wine or the cordovan would look better IMO!

I love grey and brown together. Understated and elegant. And if your tack is also dark brown, the boots will make perfect sense. Please do post pics for us to admire!
Don't wrassle with a hog. You just get dirty, and the hog likes it.

    Yay!!!!
Yes, my tack is old school havana brown.
My new show pad I just ordered will have Brombeer trim (kind of a raisin win plum burgandy)
I hope it all looks good together.
Ill wear the boots every day, but the coat 6x a year, so I care more about the boots matching my saddle.

I have friends with dark brown De Niros! They look very classy! They catch your eye but are completely appropriate and look awesome with their chestnuts. Get them )
