It is a funny quirky film that has been hiding under a rock aparrantly.

If you liked Aadams Family values- you will like this one. Only this one isn't so macabre... (well maybe the earring scene is)

If you have netflix and an hour or so to kill give it a shot.

I saw it when it was released in theatres. I think it's (writer and director) Wes Anderson at his very best. It has a great cast, too.

Not sure about the Addams Family comparison but it was very Wes Anderson. If you like MK but missed his other movies I'd recommend a film fest at home. Royal Tennenbaums, Rushmore, and Bottle Rocket in particular.

Saw it, loved it. I think Bruce Willis and Frances McDormand(normand?) are underrated as actors. And I've never seen a bad movie with Edward Norton in it.

I have yet to see this, but I'm glad the WA fans like it. My favorite movie of his is "The Darjeeling Limited". Mostly for the very first running to catch the train scene and I adore Adrien Brody.

It took me longer to warm up to "Rushmore". I think moving to Houston helped, since I live in the neighborhood where a lot of it was filmed. In fact, my husband patronizes Max's dad's barber shop! It's still there, and looks pretty much the same.

Some of Wes Anderson's movies require a second viewing, at least for me. The first time I saw "The Royal Tenenbaums" I was all "Huh?" but when I saw it again several years later I loved it.

My sense of humor doesn't really align with Wes Anderson's. I never quite enjoy his films although I appreciate them for what they are. I thought this was one of the more entertaining ones.

Saw it last month and agree with the a-typical Wes Anderson quirky type of storytelling movie. The film team did a great job in capturing the visuals and clothing et al of a past era. Bruce Willis and Ed Norton each did a fine acting job beyond what you'd somewhat expect. Then again Ed is far more talented than many folks give him credit.

Was it the best film I saw of the 2012 class? No. However you could invest 2 hours and get less of a return? Sure. I'd check the film out.
