Librarian, Federal Government for over 30 years.

I work on a Military post, and my customers sacrifice so much every day. I work for the greatest people in the world, and I love being able to help them with everything from an answer to their questions, to a good selection of candy at all times. There's nothing as funny as seeing a bunch of rough, tough combat vets standing around with Tootsie Roll Pops and comparing flavors.

PhD in Pharmacology, on the faculty of a large Midwestern academic medical center running a research program aimed at developing better drugs for pain management. Also working in "dean-land" at the same time. Play the lottery every week hoping that I can make the virtual farm the real thing!

I checked "office staff" as that was probably the closest thing to what I do. What I actually do is work in procurement for a global manufacturer of mass transportation systems and propulsion equipment. Basically, I buy electronic components.

I've always been a horse person. I had a catering company for 15 years. Then I trained driving horses. Now I am the primary caregiver for my elderly Mother and in my free time I work my own horses.

Freelance graphic designer, writer, and editor - I create and consult mainly on educational/professional development pieces. I do most of my work with the 4-H program and land grant universities/cooperative Extension. (Used to be a 4-H agent.)

I have a background in fine art, PR, event planning, and marketing/communications - so striking out on my own and being a utility fielder seemed like a good idea. I love it but I'm starting to look for a 9-5 position as a designer so I can stop being a one man band all the time. It gets lonely.
