Just wanted to let my friends here know that I am still alive and kicking, but it has been one wild ride, and not in a good way.
Basically, lost my husband, lost my horse, lost my dog and lost my job.
But ast 2013 arrives, I'm going to count those bad times as a blessing in disguise, and that these changes will lead to good things.
1 - the lost husband took, his parents with him, and I have the farm to myself. More room for family and friends to come to visit and stay.
2 - the passing of my beloved horse eased the financial aspect of the horse care, and leaves space in the barn for possible boarder instead (still pondering that).
3- the passing of my 14 year old dog, while tragic, made room for two wonderful rescue dogs that share my life and fill my heart with joy every day.
4 - the loss of my job may lead to a better job with less stress.
Happy New Year to everyone!
