Does anyone make ready to wear pull on field boots
Ok ... So I am tired of breaking zippers. What I would like to to buy a nice pair of pull on field boots. Frankly, they fit and look better on my than anything else I've tried and I never worry about the zipper breaking.
Does anyone still make them or will I have to go custom?
Quick tip: definitely take a look around for gently used ones in a size that works for you. Often they can be found looking pretty much brand new (horse folks change their minds a lot, so newer stuff gets sold often, LOL) but already through most of the breaking in/softening/dropping period. Which can be nice to not have your ankles and behind the knees rubbed raw.
Also check the Coth Classifieds. I bought a pair of used field boots on here ages ago...they got here looking brand new but were also comfy as heck. Kinda awesome getting new boots for a LOT less and already broken in.

Search around, consignment places have them. I was lucky enough to score a pair of Konigs for 200 bucks from one of these places that I had gussets added to, and which fit me like they were custom made for me. I have sworn I will only wear pull ons until I am too old and busted up to get them on. I have seen "wardrobe malfunction" with zips too many times to convince me they are good.
I have two pairs of Ariats that I grabbed on eBay, and my brown boots, also from eBay, are Dehners and Marlboroughs, both pull ons. I haven't tried Smith Worhtington boots, but I have their tack and love it
I have a pair of Elite pull on field boots, which I love. I am not sure if they still offer them without zips anymore, but if you can find a pair they are wonderful IMO. I also recommend the Ariat Crownes someone mentioned, I tried both when I bought my Elites and was torn between which ones to buy, since both were so nice.
