    Thanks LMH. I don't have a drainage problem in the corral area. It's is one of the best places on the property for drainage - and there are some pretty good places. I think I'll use the information about the M-10 for another place, though. On the horse entrance to my barn, there is a place where it can get mudd-though I use a different entrance if it's wet. I'll look into the M-10 for that. I really don't know enough about these gravels.

    If you are strictly going for drainage and not concerned about hooves then look into a product called #89

    M-10 is all fine but will pack to allow comfort for feet.

    #89 does better for drainage. It is all over my farm-driveway, parking, etc,

    I actually have one dry lot in 89-I also have one thinner soled horse that does not prefer it.

    I was told that, when shopping for pea gravel, you should take your own shoes and socks off and walk around on it--if it hurts your feet, don't buy it.

    OP, you might want to look @ the Rockly Farm blog--they are a rehab farm in England, and they turn the horses out on pea gravel tracks.
