What is that yellow light in the picture? I don't think that is normal - the sky is supposed to be grey and lumpy or a flat dark grey and spitting white crap.

Here, everthing has a huge covering of hoar frost, and now it's snowing again and temps rose to around 0°F overnight

    Very nice.
Any yes, that yellow thing in the sky is really weird...not normal for the winter time at all....

    Lovely!

I've actually noticed, which I can't ever remember doing before, that the sun is rising earlier! I think most winters there are low snow clouds that cover the sky, not so right now.

That last one is really pretty.
I have pretty snow covered trees but we had wintry mix last night so the yard is a particularly ugly shade of mucky snow, and the shop, though useful, isn't at all pretty. The picket fence making the shadows is so nice. What a lovely view!

Perfect for a personalized Christmas card!

I am impressed with the person who rode in -1 temps (I would never do that!). I however DID accompany the equine dentist as he did 6 of the horses here (that is, hung around the barn for about 5 hours in 0 degree weather). We both agreed we'd do the other five when it was warmer, like March!

Lovely view! I'd love some snow. Everywhere is flooded/soaking wet here right now. I'm living in a sea of mud.
