Too much kissing has left us with the gift that keeps on giving - my 2.y.o. grandson was visiting and now we all have colds....he probably picked it up in the toy room at the rec. center.

Ah....I've spent 17+ years with a horrible kisser. Our wedding kiss was not pretty. I've been traumatized by him jamming his tongue in my mouth and ravaging me for the next 2 minutes in front of 200 guests. Oh well, he's a country boy, and it's one of his very few flaws. At least he can manuever a canoe well!

My first husband was a horrible kisser. My late husband (that would be Husband #2 for the COTH Fact Police) was a wonderful kisser. He was really quite the hottie: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?f...7&l=af7f392e1f
which made kissing all the more easier, and fun. It was something that we did a LOT, and something I miss dearly: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?f...5&l=59a4269a1b
But, the kiss that was my favorite, was when he would hold me, and kiss me on the top of my head, and whisper, "I love you, baby."

Awwww Freebird -- (hugs)
First kiss between DH and I was, quite literally, him forcing me to shut up. I can be quite a talker and I'm sure I was going on and on about something absolutely ridiculous. He just took the opportunity to make me be quiet. It's still one of his favorite moves.

I still to myself from time to time - he was a terrible, terrible kisser and completely useless in bed on all fronts. Nice to look at, though, and good muscle to have around the farm.
That is a real shame. Seriously-not fair at all!

First a snuggle cuddle thread now we are talking about kissing, and to top it all off I am watching The Tudors on Hulu. Oy! Wish I was not single as this moment.
My first kiss was with Brice Taylor, the boy that lived down the road and it was a peck that I stole. My first french kiss was this Matt McLaughin during 7 mins in heaven where he bit his own lip and blamed it on me.
I love to kiss though its my favorite thing to do with clothes on.

The kissing came before the snuggling.

Current BF started out pretty bad. I mean, how did he get to 29 smothering girls with his lips? My last ex was an A+ kisser too, so poor guy had some lofty expectations to meet. But he's improved with training (tip: hold his face still!) and is very eager to try different things.

I am enjoying this thread I started.
Now for the reason I started it ...
Not being in a relationship recently I haven't been doing any kissing lately and the last guy I'd kissed was an Englishman who knew how (so did I, apparently ).
Now fast forward to this week and getting to see an old friend who I guess you could call an old flame ...
... only he wasn't. A flame, I mean. No fire, no ... nothing. Never kissed him before because we used to be just friends but later learned we'd both wanted more at the time ... been far apart for ages, then got together for Christmas this past week ... and kissed goodbye. Our first kiss. He said hmm, nice kiss, I agreed in words but not in truth.
There was just absolutely nothing at all about it that I enjoyed.
I'm another COTHer who doesn't like French kissing even it's done well, and this was just ... not.
Yick.
Sad disappointment but also, actually, a relief, as now I guess we can just stay friends and I won't have to mourn the fact that he's so far away. Won't miss anything I might be missing.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrggggggggggggg gghhhhhhhh........... sigh.
Keep telling myself I'm too old for all this anyway but you never get too old, do you?

Ok Milo and Lex,
So you two both snuggle up before your first kiss with someone?
Man, I have been doing it all wrong.
