Talking Let's see all your Winter Woollies!!

I hate the cold, but for me, there is nothing more satisfying then to be able to "tuck" my ponies in their nice cozy stall, with their jammies on, listening to them slurp up their Beet Pulpy goodness.

So, I'll go first: Here is my filly, happily slurping up her Beet Pulp dinner:

I, too, love the wooly bears...the ears on winter ponies KILL ME. They are barely visible due to nearby fluff/forelock, plus they are so full of their own fur they look solid. Makes me wonder how they can hear (like Winnie the Pooh, ears "all stuffed with fluff." maybe it creates extra vibrations )

    Simba: looking good!

I don't have any good pictures of Neigh's whole body and his woollyness (I think his color hides it in pictures), but I took this picture in early November. e's fuzzier even now (and was already shedding a bit when I saw him last weekend!). He's a woolly beast. Always has been, but when he arrives here in the next couple of weeks, I am going to bring up the Cushings subject with my vet, just in case.

My (much) younger horse works for a living, and is very sleek....here he is, bundle within an inch of his life.

    Here's my yak

He needs all that fluff to keep up with the snow. Hopefully trudging through it will help keep him fit! http://i.imgur.com/SVoJG.jpg

This was back at the end of November, before our first real cold snap. He's a 19yo SF gelding

Heading out to the barn tomorrow. I'll try to grab a few of the yak
