Default Poss to Darken a Used County Logic Girth?

The title just about says it all. The girth is advertised as havana, but it looks closer to London in the pics. I know that some leather is just too difficult to darken successfully, and I would like some idea of whether this girth could come close to matching my saddle.

I have a couple of County girths - one darkened easily and the other not as well. Both started out Havana.

I have the same question. I asked the cobbler and he sold me some dye. I'm nervous to use it and figured I'd wait till the weather got better. Any tips would be very appreciated!

Are there any options out there? I bought an older, but never been used stabilizer that is "orangey". I tried Hydrophane, and my next step is Hydrophane darkening oil. I've also heard of applying olive oil and setting it in the sun. Has anyone had any luck with the hydrophane, or are there other special formulas out there?
