I always said if I got another dog...(any guesses on breed?!)
..it wouldn't be a puppy, bigger than 30 pounds, and definitely NOT another hound. And yet, somehow I came home from Alabama with a big, hound mix puppy...lol. I guess Santa had other plans... ;-) http://i1170.photobucket.com/albums/...ps2c54d2c7.jpg
Any guesses on breed mix??

Congrats! No matter what kind they are they are fun.
But I know exactly what you mean. My next dog was supposed to be under 20 lbs and short haired. Instead I have hairy and 50. Love him!

oh right the 'never say never' credo. after witnessing a friend's hyperactive yellow lab, i swore, NEVER get a lab. wasn't a big fan of shepherds. didn't want a black dog (too hard to find ticks, and the shedding hair, yuck). SO, what did we end up with? yup, a BLACK LAB SHEPHERD cross. and yes we love him and he isn't hyper, he does shed his black hair but WE LOVE HIM!
