Default Anybody know about Pequea Manure spreaders?

Our old NH spreader is dead. We've taken the apron chain out and have been unloading by hand every couple of weeks- definitely not fun. But I guess it doesn't owe us anything- paid $425 for it (and maybe $200 in parts over the years) and have been using it for over 10 years. If I'm lucky we'll be able to sell it as a wood wagon for $400.

Anyway... haven't been able to find a good used PTO spreader at a reasonable price. Must be PTO- we stockpile in the summer. Called a local dealer and was pleasantly surprised at the cost of a brand-spanking-new Pequea 80, which is just a tiny bit smaller than our current spreader. $3500! Anybody know anything about them?

I have a 50 bushel PTO driven Pequea spreader. Got it new but it has been 100% for me. I think it would be a good choice
