Default Ordering Casa de las Botas boots?

Hi again! Looking for some people who have ordered these boots. I've been measured by a friend who works at a tack store and sent my measurements to the company through their website, but never heard back. Should I try again?

Sadly, I don't speak much Spanish and I gather from some threads here that most employees don't have particularly good English. What is the best way to go about ordering?

I'm out of town now but will get back to you after New Years with info.
By the way, they are not very proficient in english so that is probably why they didn't answer.

I will get to it next week.

    HAPPY NEW YEAR!

    Default I'm back with info...

Called the store (didn't talk to the owner though) and they said it was $2600 (argentine pesos) plus u$s190 for door to door s&h. They have an account in USA where you can deposit payment without worrying about international wire transfers.
Now, for the nitty gritty: according to today's exchange rate, $2600 can go anywhere from u$s360 to u$s530, depending if it's black market or official rate (yes, welcome to third world economy...). I would guess the fair thing to do is meet half way price wise, which would leave us with u$s445-450 aprox).

After all the math and economics 101, it would be about u$s640 for a pair of customs with all the bling, glitter and special leather you want, dropped at your doorstep.

Any other questions, mail me. It's in my profile.
...and no, I don't represent them in any way, but if I continue to compulsively buy their boots, soon it will be cheaper for me to buy their business!
