Default Quite Easy baby update - almost 3

A little over a year ago I bought a Quite Easy baby (late yearling) from Hilltop Fram in MD. They are fabulous to work with BTW and SUPER knowledgable about breeding and it amazed me how well Natalie knew all the babies, because there are a lot of horses there!

Anyway, he was a bit of a pushy lad (he came home 10 days post gelding) and needed a bit of extra interaction so I started some basic training in early summer. Normally, a 2 year old would just hang out, but he needed the discipline, so it was work for him.

Here he is, approaching 3. He is really nice to work with and I think he'll be a great sport horse! He's a bit big, but I am hoping for a max height of 16.3...

My friend has a 7yo Quite Easy mare that is doing PSG now. Really pretty to watch.

7 and PSG? Wow! I'm at 3rd with my 8 year old mare, but I'm just an amateur learning as I go on my horse I bought as a yearling.

Very nice looking horse. How tall is he? My Contender mare slipped an 8 month old filly a couple of weeks ago. You are fortunate to have one. A friend of mine said she had never seen a QE that she didn't like. Good luck with your future training and I like that you are taking your time with him.

He is between 16.0 and 16.1. He will probably end up around 16.3 which is a bit bigger than ideal since I am only 5'1".
