Hi everybody!

Need suggestions for my new short jacket. My current one doesn't fit me at all as I am very thin but tall as well, so the smaller sizes are short of the sleeves, and the larger ones are just awfully fitting.

I also have smallish shoulders, so another added difficulty.

Can anyone recommend a good jacket for me?

Oh come on, I do admit there are worse things in the world, but IT IS unfair that because of it I cannot look good in any dressage coat I've put on so far! Maybe I should just put on a few pounds...!

Have you tried Equiline? Smartpak carries their jacket. Their clothes tend to fit taller people and they have the free return shipping. I would say maybe animo because your thin but I have no idea how your length and height would work out.

I'm 5'9" and about 134 lbs I have had success with pikeur tall and kentucky tall I also tried that newish italian company that starts with an A animo? and they fit ok, although I think it might have been the mens,

Based upon my big shoulders & biceps, and short stature, I was going to suggest Pikeur, since there is no way one of those will ever fit me without buying one 2 or 3 sizes too big for my shoulders, then tailoring the heck out of it.

This was my experience as well (being a short/curvy type) - my guess is they would fit tall/slender better.

I have this same issue. I love the way Pikeur's fit, but the price has kept one out of my closet. Unable to find the Kentucky.

Most jackets have some extra sleeve material that can be let out for extra sleeve length as another option if you are on the same type of budget I am

It seems that in general with clothes, tall/thin = expensive.

Years upon years of being tall, thin and looking for flattering dressage coats have always lead me back to a well cut hunt coat in an extra long size. The have a true double vent that is super flattering, and the smooth lines without the break at the waist just look a log better. They are also very correct.

Go check out some hunt coats. More color options too!!

Ignore the fuller fillies and the curvy queens. They're just not able to comprehend your situation.

I am 5'7" weighing 115 lbs and I bought the RTS coat from Dressage Extensions a few years ago. The sleeves had a good length to them and I just had the waist taken in a little. I think it's a great deal for the prize....
