I'm so very sorry. My condolences, for whatever they're worth, to your family. As my 3yro begs me to turn on his bedroom light (that he can reach full well himself) while sitting next to me, and my 6yro watches Kung Fu Panda on the couch next to me, I feel for those kids and your brother.

Is there anything we can do to help them?

I'm so very sorry. Poor kids, no real time to process her illness, then death.

Thanks all. They had pretty much sold everything, to go work at a homeless church in Florida - its called The Source, for any Floridians out there. They have no TV, or Internet or phone at home. The kids had asked for Nike socks for Christmas. Just a sweet, sweet family. Im going to see about starting a fund for them on Monday, and for anyone who does want to help, just PM me.

I know my husband, and Jesus are taking care of Kelly, so it's not her I worry about. Its her husband and 4 kids that tears at my heart.

Life is just so precious. In all the holiday rush, its so easy for us to get busy with returning gifts , going to parties, and playing with toys. But I promise you will never regret time spent with your loved ones, and an "I love you" is never wasted words.

    So sorry to hear.

I just heard this morning that one of my fathers closest friends has advanced brain cancer. It's so difficult to see my dad upset and thinking of how tough this will be for his wife.

For anyone who feels led to give in honor of my SIL, Kelly Butler, she wanted all money to go to The Source: http://www.iamthesource.org/

They help feed the homeless in their community, and her husband helps run it.
