Quarter Life Crisis?? aka Everything in my life is new right now!
I turned 25 in January. In April, I moved barns from the farm I had been at for TWELVE years. New barn. In June, I blew up the motor to my old muscle car. New (bigger) motor. At the end of June, I lost my job - but found a New, dare I say better, job in September. I also joined the gym in June and have lost 20 lbs. New body. A guy at the gym asked me out in October. New boyfriend. Aaaaand... as of last night, yes, Christmas Eve, I bought my first house (closing date is Jan 31)! New home!
If this is what a quarter life crisis looks like... I hope EVERYONE has one!

I think I'm having one too! I'm 24 (when did that happen?) and for the first time since I graduated I know where I'll be this time next year. In two weeks, I move into my first "grownup" apartment, start a new job in a new state, all in a new (to me) car. I've also been seeing an awesome guy, who shows no signs of wanting to end things when I move.

Woo! Congrats! Happy to join the club as another quarter-lifer who had an awesome 2012. Got a new pony, my DREAM job, a sweet new living situation, and an amazing boyfriend. Here's to continuing the trend in 2013!

For those of you struggling ... Last Christmas my employer gave me a book for Christmas and in it was an inscription that said "2012 will be your break out year!" Of course, when I lost my job 6 months later, I kind of soured to that comment and was thinking...break out of being employed. But now, I really do agree that 2012 was my break out year! Broke out of old routines and stepped into new and exciting doorways! Chin up folks!
