Well said Alagirl!
Not feeling very christmassy down here being that it was +40C yesterday. I miss snow. Snow makes it feel like christmas and I don't think i will ever get use to a hot christmas.
And you can't beat some some Michael Buble christmas songs!

Feeling must the same here. Watching Christmas movies and playing as much Christmas music as possible. Missing my 2 cats and dog who crossed the bridge this year but thankful for the remaining kitties and my glorious ponies. And in the human category, DH plus our respective families.
Enjoy the Christmas fowl and remember the reason for the season!

I do not miss snow at all. right now it is in the 50's and drizzling rain here in Nashville. I'm here with the dogs, cats, and horses doing whatever strikes my fancy. All of you do the same------have a great holiday and remember the reason for the season.

It's early 80s here in New Zealand, been raining on and off but fine now and humid as all out. Supposed to be like this for the next couple of days. I've never had snow for Christmas; Mr HwNN grew up in Europe and has promised to take me back for at least one white Christmas.
Health and happiness, peace and goodwill for Christmas everybody.
where am I, what day is it, am I still having a good time?

Ending our second year of record breaking drought, drier than in the 30s, just not for that many years yet, so no moisture to complain about, lizard weather is the name of the game.
Merry Christmas Eve to all!
Yes, we need our OT Day fix, addicted as we are.
Good idea to start a ten step OT withdrawal project, starting with this thread, to keep us sane.
Our horses will thank you.

At least for us the drought of the 1950s was worse.... ran from 1947 to 1957
State wide the current drought ranks third, behind the 1918 drought. ...the 1930 falls in behind those

I just put the oven on self-clean, and thought about that chicken.

Now scared to clean the oven after catching up on the story around Thanksgiving. So what if the Marshmallow Sundae cookies taste like sister-in-law's green bean casserole?
