Default Hunterseat Equition Book by George Morris.

Ok I've been reading my book Hunterseat Equition Book by George Morris that my lovely SS sent me and I love it!! I have a few ?'s.

I've been showing at the local QHsey shows (where they ride like this) http://s1186.photobucket.com/albums/...01861823_n.jpg

Well I want to show Hunter again and not QHsey. Do you think Beautiful and I can show Hunter?? I remember the first yr I had her we took her to two Huntershows where I got 2 champions in my class. Thanks!!

Of course you can show hunter.
The first photo looks quite stiff to me.
Another book that is a wealth of equitation info is Judging Hunters and Hunter Seat Equitation by Anna Jane White Mullen.
Looking at your photos (your horse is a cutie!!!), I would like to see your leg underneath you rather than out in front.

Anyone can show in the hunters if they want to! A few position things I see that you need to change though are that your stirrups seem a tad long and your leg is in front of you. Your hands seem kind of stiff.

Also another thing is your foot looks a tad deep in your stirrup, and your heels could go down a bit. Your reins are really long for hunters, except maybe in the hack, but then some judges want a loose rein and some want a horse with good packaged contact.
