I'd love the horsey mags...we devoured the last ones! I was hoping to go home tomorrow evening if I can keep solids down all day tomorrow, but they tried to kill me today so now I may be here an extra day. Although to be fair with all the morphine I am crappy company hopefully we get some decent weather this week and I can get her out to your place to ride! She is really looking forward to it.

This is getting ridiculous.....not to mention painful. Back in the hospital again
Alittlegray is back in the hospital, this time Mary Washington, again. Emergency trip yesterday in an ambulance. I'm already losing count for this year. Counting the stay over from last year into early January, I think this is #4 or #5???? Too many already. And even before the scheduled trip to Johns Hopkins on 2/28.
So if anyone is going by the hospital, can I paypal you some money for some horse magazines to take to alittlegray? If there are any good horse magazines for sale at bookstores. I used to be able to buy the Chronicle at the newsstand in downtown Savannah when I was a kid. There was a shoeshine parlor and newsstand in a little office building 2 blocks from my father's office. Are there such things anymore? And of course in Atlanta we had Oxford Bookstore in Peachtree Battle. No Chronicles there, but other horse magazines and books. (And that little section that all the men crowded into. )
OK alittlegray, we will award you the trophy for most hospitalizations of 2013 if you will promise to get everything fixed when you get to Hopkins on 2/28. Your daughter has the offer of a ride if you can get back to work and pay for the boarding for the horse that someone has offered to let her free lease.
Get well soon! Cloudy and Hattie will be cheering for you to get well.

Alittlegray is still in Mary Washington as of today, Thursday, February 21st. She's having trouble even with just a liquid diet, so please wish her well in PMs.

I do not like doing these updates that are not cheerful.
Alttlegray is at Johns Hopkins today. Don't know how long she'll be there.

Arguing with trolls is like playing chess with a pigeon. No matter how good I am at chess the pigeon is just going to knock over the pieces crap on the board and strut around like it is victorious.

We warmbloods are sure that Always Funny wants alittlegray to get well so that she won't be in such pain. Ditto with SFrost. Both have pancreatic problems. Those are very painful in humans and animals.
Everyone who can send her magazines or books, please PM her and get the mailing address so you can help her distract her mind from the pain.

Well, hopefully if it's Johns Hopkins, they'll get to the bottom of her problem! Sending hugs and hopes for a quick turnaround.

Thinking of her! My dog had pancreatitis and that was a rollercoaster . . . I have to believe that with a person the ups and downs are much worse. Fingers (and everything else) crossed the experts at Johns Hopkins can get to the bottom of it.

cloudyandcallie -- I'm right near Baltimore. Does she need anything? PM me if there's anything I can do to help. Big jingles!
