Default White Fox Manor Needs Your Support

Beth Stoker, the MACTA President, sent this out earlier today:
"A quick note regarding a phone call I received this morning. White Fox Manor is on the chopping block. Apparently the park is looking at closing it down. There will be a meeting on Wednesday night of the park board. They are looking to try and fill the meeting with supporters to try and keep it open. When I find out more details I will pass them along as to how you might be able to help."

White Fox Manor in Olathe, KS is the indoor arena & barn used for a lot of clinics that also use the Heritage Park Cross-Country course. The concern is that this is the thin end of the wedge as the Heritage lease come up soon and there has been a lot of pressure to use it for other sports like golf.

Update - A Stay of Execution
White Fox has a reprieve until June 30th to allow a group to come up with a management plan to take over the running of it. If things aren't going well by mid-April in regards to plan, the Parks Dept. will most likely shut it down at end of July and level everything, or sell the barn to someone that would potentially relocate it.
