I know what I want as far as the logo goes and I have a jpeg of a key chain that is exactly what I want. I would just need to figure out the font to use. Is there anyone on CoTH that does graphic work and could give me an estimate?

I would want to use the logo for business cards, redo my 15 year old farm sign and get some shirts embroidered, so I think I need it all done in vector as well as jpeg.

If there is anyone who would like to discuss with me off line - please PM me your info. I can email you the jpeg of the key chain and we can go from there.

Your title says "Farm Log" instead of "Farm Logo." I only clicked on the thread because I wanted to know what a farm log was...

First, grow a tree.
Wait until the tree is pretty big.
Cut a log from the tree.

OK just kidding. Have you already ruled out local graphic designers? What you are asking should be pretty basic for any graphic designer in the phone book, since you already have a very clear idea of what you want. Even the larger copy/printing shops may have that service.
That said, be sure to keep an open mind if the designer has suggestions to improve your idea. Tap into their expertise in what makes a good logo.
