Default I77/I 64 through WV yes HR

Mr P will be hauling our new horse trailer home on that route. I couldn't find any info on the gas line explosion and I'm not seeing delays on Mapquest. Is the road clear? Anyone know?

It's open IIRC, with totally melted signs.

You're welcome.... may Mr P have an otherwise boring & uneventful trailering :=)

Unless you have to use that route, I'd consider another road. I hauled through WVA...64 to 77 to 64 once back when I first got my LQ trailer and swore never ever again. My trailer is very big and heavy and it was very hard on the truck pulling up the steep grades and then controlling the trailer on the way down. I now go around W.VA when I can and find it doesn't' take any more time since I can maintain the speed limit. It was awful on 77 in particular.

While I realize you aren't hauling horses, I think that haul was very exhausting for the horses too.

Its more important to know WHEN, snow coming Friday & not a fun road in the snow. Where is trailer?

He was going to come home tomorrow but because of the weather report he left this morning. He should be here in about 3 hours.
DDB, this is a simple 2 horse BP. http://www.eclipsealuminumtrailers.c...ht-loads/st-sr 3500 lbs
Empty I doubt the truck even knows it's there. I think its towing capacity is around 12000 lbs

Glad to hear you got the trailer home safely. I just wanted to warn you as you did not state how big it was originally. I avoid WV like the plague after my experience hauling our big rig through there.
