    Default Russian Don

Saw one on tv, she is at the KY Horse Park. Has anyone seen her "live"? From what little I saw from the program, it looks like a nice horse breed.

I've ridden a couple - a full bred and an Anglo-Don. Both were lovely horses. Amazingly comfortable trots, nice jumps, and a metallic sheen to the coat.

I wonder if the coat sheen comes from the same bloodlines as Akhal-Tekes. Their supposed to have a metallic color.

The horse at Ky HP had a lovely, floating trot. She looked like a hunter.
