Default Boarding in/near Louisville KY for Retired Horses

I have two horses that are retired and that currently I keep at home. My husband just got a job that will be having us relocate to Louisville KY and while we are in transition, I would like to see if anyone can recommend a reasonable facility for boarding 2 retirees. Currently they have stalls at night and are out all day long. They eat a small amount of grain twice a day.

The situation would not be permanent, as we are looking for our own farm and would plan to move them to that farm once we move. I have other horses that I ride and keep at another barn currently.

Does anyone have suggestions? I am hoping to visit barns mid January.

I think Melody Adler does a good job, from what I've heard.

Are you still looking for a temporary facility? I have a five-stall barn on 24 acres in Smithfield, KY that you are welcome to look at. There are no other horses there at the moment.

I don't know anyone personally, but check with any of the barns that have taken horses south for the winter. That might be a win wine for both of you.
