    Default My Trainer is.....

I am currently writing a Testimonial for my trainer and it has gotten to be a book! I am coming to realize that she is more than just my "riding instructor" she is also My therapist, my voice of reason, my friend, my fitness instructor, confidant, etc....

What hats does your trainer wear for you?

My trainer is... not dead yet! This year he lost his wife and several close friends. In the last few years, he didn't have much of a show string, and deferred to her lucrative (really) lesson business. Now, there are a slew of horses getting ready for next year and he's coaching a couple riders (not for the faint of heart!). We went horse shopping in the middle of nowhere and it was funny to watch the hampster fly on that wheel as we looked at horses NOBODY in the business knows about, while he grumped about the "kids" (40 somethings) showing now.
